Welcome to the Lumii family! This guide will assist you in setting up your Lumii DLP Dental 3D Printer, understanding its components, and initiating your first print.

The Lumii DLP Dental 3D Printer is designed to simplify chairside 3D printing for dental professionals, offering a seamless workflow and exceptional printing precision. Its 2K DLP technology ensures high-quality dentistry with every print.​

What’s in the Toolbox?

Your Lumii DLP Dental 3D Printer comes with a complete set of tools and accessories for setup, operation, and maintenance. Please check all items before starting.

Power Cord and Adapter

Connect the printer to a power source using the provided cables and adapter. Ensure the connection is secure before powering on the device.

Gloves

Wear the included gloves when handling resin or cleaning the printer. Personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, masks, and goggles, is recommended to prevent skin contact with resin.

Warranty Card

Includes your printer’s serial number and warranty information. Scan the QR code for access to Phrozen Dental Support, tutorials, and warranty policy details.

DS Slicer Dongle

This dongle activates your Phrozen Dental Synergy Slicer (DS Slicer) software. Insert it into your computer to unlock full slicing features, including AI-optimized support generation and pre-validated resin parameters.

USB Drive

Use the USB drive to transfer your sliced .PRZ files from DS Slicer to the Lumii printer. Ensure files are saved in the correct format and plug the USB into the designated port before starting a print.

Sandpaper

Included for finishing and post-processing printed models. Use gently to smooth the surfaces of your prints after curing.

⚠️ Do not use the metal scraper on the resin tray to avoid scratches or damage to the DLP lens window.

Metal Scraper

Designed for removing printed models from the build plate after printing. Use with care to avoid damaging the build surface.

Plastic Scraper

For cleaning the resin vat or removing cured resin from the surface of the resin tray.

Funnel

Place the funnel on the resin bottle when pouring resin back after printing. It helps filter out solidified particles and ensures cleaner resin reuse.

Allen Wrenches Set

Used for adjusting the build plate and performing Z-axis calibration. Three different sizes are included to fit various screws on the Lumii printer.

Handle

Screw in the provided door handle to the Lumii printer before operating. This improves ease of use and protects the internal components.

Wi-Fi Antenna

Attach the antenna to enhance wireless connectivity, enabling a stable connection to the Phrozen OS system for easier file management and firmware updates.
