This article provides guidance on how to add your 3D printer to Slicer Software. If your resin 3D printer is not listed in the software's menu, you can manually input the printer's data - Resolution and Size to add it to the list of available options.
Adding the new printer manually in Slicer
Here's an example of how to add Sonic Mighty 8K to CHITUBOX:
- Open CHITUBOX and click on Settings
- Click on Add New Printer > Others > Default
- Input the following printer data
- Resolution:X and Y pixels (px)
- Size:X, Y, and Z millimeters (mm)
- Mirror: Select LCD_Mirror or Normal
By manually inputting the printer's data, you can ensure that CHITUBOX is configured to work optimally with your machine, resulting in more accurate and precise prints.
