The Sonic CS+ resin vat comes pre-installed with a standard nFEP film, which serves as the release layer during printing. Over time, the film can become dented, deformed, or punctured, leading to failed prints or reduced print quality. Minor surface scratches or smudges typically do not require replacement.
This guide will show you how to replace the nFEP film on your Sonic CS+ resin vat.
We recommend using Phrozen PFA (nFEP) Film (A4 / 210*290mm) for replacement.
Before You Begin
When to Replace the nFEP Film
- The film is dented, deformed, or pierced
- Significant clouding that affects print quality
- Visible tears or holes
| Note: Regular inspection is recommended to prevent print failures. |
